Your decision is personal, and we are dedicated to providing the information and guidance necessary to empower you throughout your journey. Recognising that each parent's approach to feeding is unique, our aim is to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where your choices, whether breastfeeding, formula feeding, or a combination, are honoured and respected. Our commitment is to empower you with knowledge, enabling informed decisions that align with your values and preferences.
Early treatment of tongue tie can significantly improve breastfeeding outcomes. Breast milk is widely recognised as the healthiest way to nourish your baby, offering a range of benefits including enhanced immune protection and the ability to adapt to your baby's evolving needs. While breastfeeding may be the preferred choice for many new mothers, it can present unexpected difficulties.
Common Problems
Associated with Feeding
Infant feeding can come with its challenges. Our team is well-versed in addressing common issues such as latching difficulties which can impede babies ability to feed effectively, leading to frequent feeding, weight loss and at times excessive air swallowing may lead to colic, wind, and flatulence, all resulting in an unsettled baby, which can be extremely worrying and exhausting.
For mothers, feeding problems can lead to sore, damaged, or bruised nipples, causing pain and discomfort during feeding. Poor milk drainage may result in conditions such as mastitis, infection, congestion, and reduced milk supply, which in turn can necessitate more frequent feeding sessions.
We're committed to helping you navigate these challenges with expert care.
Breastfeeding is a beautiful yet sometimes complex journey. We acknowledge the concerns that may arise, whether it's your first time breastfeeding or if you've encountered difficulties in the past. We're here to offer understanding, practical advice, and compassionate support.

By seeking support, you can address any challenges head-on, promoting successful breastfeeding and a more comfortable and enjoyable feeding experience for both you and your baby.
